It’s that time again….

The Comp Room will be reset here at Craggy2 on Tuesday 9th – Friday 12th of November 2010.

The Rock Room will be reset on Monday 6th – Thursday 9th of December 2010.

So that means that the next rounds of our very own Autumn Boulder League will be:

Round 3 Comp Room Friday 12th November 2010
Round 4 Rock Room Thursday 9th of December 2010

The competition starts at 18:00 for juniors and 18:30 for adults. Please see the Craggy Island Facebook page for full details.

And finally Mark Croxall will be at Craggy2 for 1:1 or 1:2 coaching sessions on Saturday 11th of December 2010. These sessions are ideal for anyone looking to improve their technique from absolute beginner to seasoned climber – just call our friendly reception team for details!

Hi all,

A quick reminder to all our climbers that we are hosting a competition on Wednesday 6th of October 2010. This means we will be shut for public climbing until 16:00 at which point we open for climbing as usual, with the lovely bonus of 20 comp problems to have a play on!

Hi all,

Mark Croxall will be resetting the Comp Room here at Craggy2 on the 12th to 15th of July 2010.

So that means you’ve got a few days to finish any projects you might have :0)

As usual we’ll aim to get the room open by 6 ‘ish’ every evening of setting as it will be closed during the day.

Mark will then be coming back to Craggy2 on Saturday 17th July to run his technique sessions. Give reception a call for more details.

Just a quick update – the Comp Room reset was finished by Mark on Friday 30th in time for the Boulder League. For those of you who haven’t been down yet there are 73 cracking new routes up to F7C.

It’s that time again – all those problems you may have been working are now gone forever – boo!

But don’t despair, Mark and Danie are setting as we speak. Yesterday saw 20 lovely new routes created with more going up today.

We’ll look to have the Comp Room re-opened each day by 6pm at the latest and the reset will be finished on Friday 30th October. So that should be about 80 odd cracking new routes by the end of the week.

Already there are some ‘interesting’ routes – Beige on panel 7, with the mono’s on the final section, is the route that I’ll probably talk about a lot and not actually get up!
