Craggy2 Rock Room route-set and B-B-B-Boulder League, Round 2!
February 7th, 2011 by Gareth | No Comments | Filed in Craggy Island News, Sutton NewsOk, so who’s ready for some new routes in the Rock Room? Well you’ll not be waiting long! We’ve a whole load of new holds to set with (the funky red and white ones, brand spanking new from Osmose), and Mark Croxall will be back at the end of this month to set in his own unique style, accompanied by his protégé, Mike Hadcocks. Route setting will commence on Monday 21st February, and be finished by Friday 25th February. As ever, we aim to have the room open by 18.00 every evening of that week.
On Thursday 24th February we will be having our infamous Boulder League, consisting of 15 brand new routes to clamber on (and on behalf of us over-worked staff, fall off!) starting at 18.30 (18.00 for the wee ones), with results at 21.30. There are 4 categories; Kids, Easy, Medium and Hard, and entry only costs a mere 1.50 on top of your normal entry – cheaper than chips!
So we look forward to seeing all your bright and happy selves brutalising all the new routes very soon!
